Bear Pond Espresso

Today we ventured out late afternoon, and visited on of our favourite cafes, the "Bear Pond Espresso" cafe in Shimokitazawa.


We came out happy and with 4 new coffee mugs.
They are a beautiful creamy white with bold lettering.

We live in an area in old Tokyo.
The area is called "Kodenmacho." Literally translated, "small delivery horse" town. In the older ages, this was an area in which the rulers were feudal lords, and carriers worked here using delivery horses.
